London CRU Baker street Bacchus 2023
London CRU Baker street Bacchus 2023
Very clear in the glass with a hint of green gold colour. Aromas of elderflower and stone fruits mingle with cut grass and summer hedgerow, pears, apple blossom, peach, and pair drops combine with cut grass. Classic Bacchus notes. The palate follows this through with refreshing fruits and a slight buttery texture with some textured acidity. The wine shows real depth of flavour, crisp acidity and wonderfully textured finish.
Made from a blend of two separate Vineyards, Sandhurst in Kent and Great Whitman's Essex. This is an interesting take on the classic English Bacchus and a good example of English white wine with a clearly defined wine makers influence. A beautifully aromatic style of wine with a quintessentially English profile.
